Default Insert an object into Word when I click the mouse

When using MS Word (via a hyperlink from Powerpoint) in a presentation, how
can I create an object such as a square, circle, tick mark etc, to appear in
the Word document, so that only when I click the mouse, does the object
appear.

You may be thinking of LiveMeeting or some other presentation software. Word
does not have such a feature.
