Tracking by Author
I have a document that I send to users out of state that has tracking turned
on. Changes are made to the document and it is sent back to me. When I received the document, the author's name appeared in all the balloons as the person who made the changes. However, I made comments and some redline changes that had my name as the author/user (Tools/Options/User Information) when I sent the original document out. The other person's user information is showing as all the reviewer's. I understand how the color of each reviewer works on each person's pc but the author should be identified to who made the changes or comments. When I got this document back, everything was identified as that person's being the reviewer/author even the ones I originated. What I am doing wrong? Multiple person are going to be collaborating and we want to see each individual's comments/suggestions. Thanks. |
