I created a document in Word that is an extensive form. For data input
fields I used Legacy Text Form Fields because I needed the field to "trip" macros that perform background functions or add special features to the form. These sections of the form are password protected (the macros turn protection on and off) The middle of the form is a free input outline. The data in the fields does not feed a database; it MUST remain in the form for total printout. Some of the "tripped" macros Save the file so the users does not lose the input even if he/she forgets to save it him/her-self. My problem is that each time the document Saves it loses all data input in the Text Form fields to-date! How can I stop this from happening? What can I do to make the form retain all the data? |
