Default spacing from draft to print

When I compose a letter in word 2003 and then go to print it spaces the whole
document out of wack. I get 1 line up top, one in the middle and one at the
bottom of the page. it sounds to me like a formatting problem but I don't
know what is going on.
Help !!

On the Layout tab of Page Setup, set the vertical alignment to Top. It
sounds as if you have it set to Justified.
