I have a Access Query named "Credit Approvers" . This query lists the Credit
Approvers by thier Portfolio ID. There are several Portfolio ID's that have more than one credit approver so there are many instances where the same Portfolio ID is listed several times but with different Credit Approvers. Is there a way to create a mail merge that will send only 1 email per Portfolio ID but include all of the Credit Approvers in the "To" line? The Credit Approvers field lists their respective email address. In addition, is there a way for me to designate the "From" filed in the mail merge and also add a "CC:" recpient? Thanks so much in advance! -Rich |

Hi Rich,
AFAIK, you can't use the CC or BCC fields in an email merge. For the basic merge, though, what you're describing sounds like the equivalent of a Catalog merge, but to email. To see how you might go about this, check out my Word 97-2007 Catalogue/Directory Mailmerge Tutorial at: http://www.wopr.com/index.php?showtopic=731107 or http://www.gmayor.com/Zips/Catalogue%20Mailmerge.zip Do read the tutorial before trying to use the mailmerge document included with it. -- Cheers macropod [Microsoft MVP - Word] "Rich" wrote in message ... Hi Rich,
The tutorial includes an example showing how to have a multi-column layout (page 4), which can easily be adapted to allow a single-line output. For your task, you'd use the Pordtfolio_ID field for the key. -- Cheers macropod [Microsoft MVP - Word] "Rich" wrote in message ...
