[Creating forms to be filled in Word 2007]

I would like to add a header or some method of creating a repeating heading
entry to a form. This form will be used by inhouse staff not on the web. Is
there a way to do this? When I create a header the only way to edit it is to
stop protection add the information then start protection again.
Also on forms, is there a way to eliminate the gray "add entry" text which
appears in a rich text form field, when printing the form.

The content controls you're using (which are new in Word 2007) are not
the same as the old form fields that are on the Legacy Tools button --
and specifically, you don't have to (and shouldn't) protect the
document for forms to make them work.

If you want the same effect of protecting all the text except that in
the content controls, select all the text (or at least some regular
text along with the content controls) and click Developer Group
Group.

The second effect of this is that grouping instead of protecting
allows anyone to use controls in the header without difficulty; they
just have to double-click to get access to the header. Note that you
have to apply grouping to the header paragraph separately from
applying it to the document body.
