My auto text in MS Word (Office XP) currently only includes "filename". I
want to add "filename and path" to my options. How do I do that? |

By default it would have been available, but it is simple enough to add.
Insert a filename/p field and save it as an autotext entry. Or rename normal.dot to oldnormal.dot to restore the original settings. You can copy customisations across from old to new using the Organizer. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Nanette258 wrote: My auto text in MS Word (Office XP) currently only includes "filename".
