When someone opens my Word 2007 document, the words are now symbo
The document looks fine on my computer, but when I send it to someone else,
when you open it, it is all symbols (they look like the wingdings). Help? |

When someone opens my Word 2007 document, the words are now symbo
Could it be that you are using Word 2007 while the other party is using Word
2003 (or earlier) and doesn't have the compatibility pack installed? If so, they can either install the pack (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...3-c6bb74cd1466) which I would advise, or you can save your document in the older format by clicking "Save As" and choosing "Word 97-2003 Document". No, we are trying to open it on another computer that also has 2007. I even
tried saving it as a 97-2003 and bringing it in, it looks the same.
