I am runing vista basic and everytime i try and open word 2007 , it reply's

Repair Office from the original installatrion disc. See

doesn't fix it, re-install your printer driver

Hi,
I have just recently installed Windows Office Enterprise 2007. All
components work fine except for Word. Whenever I go into work it always
shows as 'not responding'.
I have tried all the fixes I have seen in this forum and still get 'not
responding'. Have renamed files, reinstalled office, have a local printer
installed on my wireless network. I am able to see my saved documents and
sometimes they will come up but about 90% of the time the Word program is
'not responding. I inserted the DVD and see nowhere I can do a repair
install. Please help this is driving me nuts.

I believe I found the answer to the 'not responding' in Word 2007. When the
installation was being done it asked if I wanted to do the updates for
Microsoft Office 2007 and I said yes. One of those updates was 'Office live
add-on 1.4.
In the article contributed by Graham Moyer add-ons is mentioned as a
possilble problem. I found the above add-on in the Programs and Features
folder in Control Panel and uninstalled it. Since then my Word 2007 is
working. Hopefully it will keep working!! Thought this might help someone
with the same problem with Microsoft Word 2007 and Vista.

I switched my default printer to "Send to One Note". No more problems
at all. Don't know why it worked or even want to know why. I just know
that I'm done with Microsoft products. Bought a Mac for our desktop.
Next purchase is a MacBook.
