Using Word 2003
Someone sent me a document that I have to make some changes to and its being stubborn. When I try to backspace or delete something, it doesnt work. Then when I open the Tools menu, I see €śProtect Document.€ť When the document is protected, doesnt it show €śUnprotect Document€ť in the Tools menu? I dont know what else to do with this doc. When I copy and paste over all the contents to a new doc., the formatting is a mess. I only want to make some minor changes to this original doc. and I cannot. Is there a way around this mess? Im ready to pull my hair out! HELP! Karen |

Create a new, blank document. Then use Insert | File to insert the trouble
document into your newly created file. Does that improve things? -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Karen" wrote: Using Word 2003 Someone sent me a document that I have to make some changes to and its being stubborn.
