I have a word document with 40-50 links to excel. Each quarter I have to
edit the links one at a time to change the item reference from Q3 to Q4 (separate worksheets in my excel file). Is there a way to do this other than one at a time? |

Hi,
Which version of Word? In what format are the links? Have you thought of linking to generic Excel file (eg named 'Last Quarter'), then simply copying your quarterly files over that periodically? That way there's be no link updates needed. This could also be useful if you needed to redo the report for some other previous quarter. -- Cheers macropod [Microsoft MVP - Word] "Editing multiple links from excel" Editing multiple links from wrote in message ...
