Mail merge, start from existing document
I want to purge old merge documents from drop down and replace with the updated merge docs. There must be a file that contains path and doc name for each listed in drop down that can be edited |

It is not clear to what drop down you are referring. It would be easier to
give you specific advice related to your version of the software if you had told us what it is. However, in all versions, you can select a file from any folder to which you have access on your computer or network - by making use of the left hand panel of the Select Data Source dialog, which may have a different name in some versions of Word. -- Hope this helps.
