I set up this permission and have used this document to maintain information
that I alone should access. I check the definition and that has not changed
but I can't even open the file. If I can't get an anwser here I think I will
have to submit this as a formal error to MS. So far I haven't seen any
response from this blog and my inquires have not been posted. So far this
process seems to be a total waste of my time.

It would probably help if we had *some* idea what you're talking about. As
it is, it just looks like you're ranting with no particular description of
the problem and, as such, it's impossible to determine what the solution
might be. At least try to meet us half way. We're good, but we're not *that*
good - well, except maybe for Suzanne and her crystal ball... g

BTW, please be aware that this newsgroup (it's not a blog) is "staffed" by
volunteers and not Microsoft employees, so any help you might find here is
provided out of the kindness of our hearts. Accordingly, it might take some
time to receive a reply to your posts - more than the 16 minutes between
your first (incomprehensible) post and this latest rant.
