I have a simple 100 line address database in Excel 2007 and want to merge
labels in Word 2007. Problem #1: The fields are mapped and show in the preview mode. But if there is no data in the first name field, the suffix field doesn't merge. So a record with: The (prefix) Jones (last name) Family (suffix) results in "The Jones". Suffix works if there is a first name: Mr. (prefix) Bob (first name) Jones (last name) & Family (suffix) results in "Mr. Bob Jones & Family". Problem #2: By default Word 2007 adds extra space between lines on the label which can crowd a 4 line overseas address off the the label. Where do I set the "paragraph" spacing for a sheet of labels. |
