BOTH Date AND page Number in header
How do I put both a date on the left and the page numbers on the right in a
header? Every time I put one in the other one is deleted. |

For left-aligned and right-aligned text to "co-exist" in the same line of
text, you would have to use a right-aligned tab stop. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Jimbo" wrote in message ... How do I put both a date on the left and the page numbers on the right in a header? Every time I put one in the other one is deleted. |

Further, in Word 2007 (which I assume is where this problem appears),
to insert the page number in the same header with the date you must use the Current Position item on the Page Number menu, *not* the Top of Page item. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
