I am trying to insert a button into a document that when clicked will change
color or insert symbol. Also may be called a toggle switch. Used a lot in multiple choice questions. Also used at the bottom of post message page to indicate acceptance of terms, rules, etc. |

Although there is a radio button control (in Word 2003 or earlier, on the
Control Toolbox toolbar; in Word 2007, on the Legacy Controls button of the Developer tab), it's an ActiveX control that presents issues in Word documents -- see http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...ffice.10).aspx, particularly the section on "Appropriateness for Task". As an alternative, consider the scheme at http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Add_Toggle_Objects.htm. You can download Toggle_Objects.zip from the link about 2/3 of the way down the page. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
