I need to make 'labels' - about 650 of them for individuals and I have an
excel database to import. I have designed the measurements (since I couldn't find a ready made template for a 4x3 insert)and am ready to import the names. But I would like to have a blue border at the top and at the bottom where I can put a description of the event. Can someone tell me how to do that? I've tried to draw a table within the merge template - but that doesn't seem to work...or I'm doing it wrong. Can I design it in another program and then insert as a picture into the template and will it hold on the entire list? thanks for any help Pam |

Hi Pam,
I would like to have a blue border at the top and at the bottom where I can put a description of the event. Top & bottom of what - the page, or each label? Where does the event description come from? -- Cheers macropod [Microsoft MVP - Word] "Pam" wrote in message ...
