I have a Word document with 111 merge fields. The data is in Excel, and some
of the fields are long paragraphs. All are merging correctly, except for just two fields, which cut off at 255 characters. I have Office 2007, although this problem also happened when I had Office 2003. The data with this issue is in the 74th and 97th columns of my Excel worksheet. It seems strange to 100% be working except for just two fields. Any advice/thoughts? |

My guess is that if you look at columns 74 and 79, the first 8 cells in
each of those columns will /all/ have 255 characters or fewer. Try making just /one/ cell in the first 8 cells in each column have more than 255 characters.
