Protection for forms is not a suitable approach for documents that primarily
require free formatting. The better approach would be to employ a userform to collect the fixed data and docvariable fields to present the content - For the basics, see Word MVP FAQ - Userforms http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Userforms.htm for a more in depth explanation, see http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Create_and...a_UserForm.htm or you could even use Macrobutton fields as place markers - http://www.gmayor.com/Macrobutton.htm -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org "Erika" wrote in message ...
