Don't type the periods. (An ellipsis is 3 dots in a row).
Instead, set a tab with a dot leader. That is not a "line of 'points of ellipsis'"; it's a period leader. If
you're attempting to type the periods manually, then Word is AutoCorrecting every group of three to an ellipsis, which is *not* what you want. You need to set a tab with a period leader.
