Default revisions to documents

Help. How can I place a revision date in a document, to change to the
current date if and when changes are made to a specific page?

You will need to be a bit more specific about what you are doing. However I
suspect http://www.gmayor.com/save_numbered_versions.htm would be a better
approach. If not, it is difficult to come up with an automatic solution that
will not apply universally to date fields throughout the document - i.e. on
pages that have not been changed.
