Default How do I set up a recipe card file with index in Word

Am trying to set up a recipe file with a 4x6 inch page format. I don't know
how to start a new page for each recipe so that they will be listed
alphbetically in an index. Instead, whenever I open the file, although each
page has a number, I can only space down to the next page to start a new
recipe. How do I create a formated file within a file to accomplish my goal?

You can start a new page by inserting a manual page break using Ctrl+Enter.
