mouse not working WORD 2003
The mouse works everywhere except in a WORD 2003 document.
I saw solutions for WORD 2007 (KB940971) and attempted to have Microsift automatically make the registry changes. It aborted stating that I had the wrong version of WORD. Is there a manual registry entry for W2003 or is it a different problem? Thnx |

It's the same as the one in the KB940971 article under "Let me fix it myself" except that instead of the 12.0 in the registry key name, you need to use 11.0 for Office 2003. Before you do that, you may want to save the settings in Word that would otherwise be lost when the key is deleted, so you can reapply them later. See the section "How to preserve your Settings preferences" in http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Custom...eySettings.htm. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
