i can't find the helvetica font anywhere to install for my msword.

Helvetica is a commercial font that does not ship with any Microsoft

Some printers (e.g. HP laser pronters) have a built-in font set which
includes Helvetica. If such a printer is active then the font will be listed in the available fonts.
