I have a problem that I can't seem to address. Really simple.
We lookup numbers and format in excel that cell which has the number in and mailmerge and some come out in numbers and others come out in date or time values. Now in this particular mailmerge box I don't use dates or time just plain 7 digit numbers and the excel cell is in general formatting. I have also tried the number formatting with no decimal points. Help please... |

You haven't really said what the problem is (or what you cannot get it to
do), but you will probably find the answer in the article "Formatting Word fields with switches" on fellow MVP Graham Mayor's website at http://www.gmayor.com/formatting_word_fields.htm -- Hope this helps, Doug Robbins - Word MVP Please reply only to the newsgroups unless you wish to obtain my services on a paid professional basis. Hi Stuart,
Are any of the cells in the Excel column formatted as dates or times or contain date or time strings? -- Cheers macropod [Microsoft MVP - Word] "Stuart" wrote in message ...
