Hi Melinda,
The same as you would for a table with one or two cells - with an AVERAGE formula. For example, if the figures are in a given column, a formula field coded as {=AVERAGE(ABOVE) \# ",0.00"} Note: The field brace pairs (ie '{ }') for the above example are created via Ctrl-F9 - you can't simply type them or copy & paste them from this message. -- Cheers macropod [Microsoft MVP - Word] "Melinda" wrote in message ...
