It's very odd, though, that the footnotes are showing up *early* in this
context, since Word's usual procedure is to put table footnotes on the page where the row ends. With rows deeper than a page, this can result in deferred (and sometimes suppressed) footnotes, but I wouldn't expect to see them promoted to an earlier page. -- Suzanne S. I agree that that it is strange. Usually, the footnote reference is on one
