There is a document that has been set up with a pretty wide margin on the left and right sides. When you email merge it, the margins disappear. How can I get them to stay the same as in the Word document once they are merged into Outlook? I have been looking around for hours and am finding nothing?!?!?!

When you email merge it, the margins disappear. How can I get them to stay the same as in the Word document once they are merged into Outlook? I have been looking around for hours and am finding nothing?!?!?! I wouldn't expect any margin to remain unless you merged as an
attachment, but is that what you are doing? No, it is actually our Admin. Assistant that is having this problem. She has taken the time to create a document that she wants to merge into email to go to multiple recipients. She has text with images incorporated into it. It is a monthly email that is almost like a newsletter. She is trying to merge it into email the same way it is layed out in Word. She loses all formatting and margins and the images end up covering parts of the text...etc.

Ok, here we go again!!
Does this site not wrap text? No, it is actually our Admin. Assistant that is having this problem. From the Mail format drop down control in the Merge to E-mail dialog, the
user must select the "Attachment" option. However, if layout is important, the document should be converted to pdf format and then be sent as an attachment to an email message, which can be done by sending the one message with the attached file to multiple recipients (using bcc if necessary) or by use of the "Mail Merge to E-mail with Attachments" utility available from: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MailMerge/...ttachments.htm -- Hope this helps Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis. Doug already has this covered in his earlier reply, but the things to note
are that you have no control over how a recipient will view the e-mail, and that html e-mail format and Word document format are entirely different - and will result in the formatting mess you mention.
