Hi,
Is there a way to remove spaces at the beginning of lines in a Word 2007 doc? I don't want to remove the spaces between the words, just at the beginning of each line. Thanks! |

Select the text. Set justification to centered and then set justification
back to left. Jill wrote: Hi, Is there a way to remove spaces at the beginning of lines in a Word 2007 doc? I don't want to remove the spaces between the words, just at the beginning of each line. Thanks! |

If you have spaces at the beginning of a line, it probably means that each
line is terminated with an end of paragraph mark, which will appear as ¶ if you click on the Show/Hide ¶ button, or press Ctrl+Shift+8. The first word in each line will be preceded by a dot or a series of dots if the space is caused by the space bar having been used. If that is the case, you can use EditReplace and, after clicking on the More button, check the Use wildcards box and then in the Find what control, enter ^13[ ]{1,} and in the Replace with control, enter ^p -- Hope this helps.
