Default how do i disable the 'research' shortcut (alt+click)?

I spend alot of time creating tables in word & I often 'nudge' lines by
holding ALT while dragging the line - occasionally I need to move it again
and am still holding ALT, so when I click the line, the RESEARCH function
kicks in & freezes up MS Word...

Unfortunately, there does not seem to be any way to disable this shortcut.
We can only hope that MS has heard users' pleas and will use a different
shortcut in Word 12.
