delete highlighted text and more
how do I delete a highlighted selection using the backspace button and then continue using the backspace without clicking the mouse? I found a lot of threads that address the first part of the question (checking the "typing replaces selection" box in options/edit tab. However, my issue is that I want to continue deleting text by hitting the backspace button. The cursor seems to be limited to the position of the selected text. I have to move the cursor position after deleting the selection (with the backspace button).... I recall that this is possible because i do this by habit, and found the interruption annoying. Thanks in advance |
