Default how do you turn off the auto link in word 2000?

I'm trying to find out how to disable the thing that will automatically turn

Hi Nightshade

Tools Autocorrect Options. On the AutoFormat As You Type tab, un-tick the
box labelled "Internet and network paths with hyperlinks".

Hope this helps.
