I have a new computer and I need to load my custom dictionary for Word and
Outlook. I copied my custom dictionary from my old computer to a thumbdrive then put it into the C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\UProof folder, went to Word Options/proofing, clicked Custom Dictionaries, located my custom dictionary, checked the box next to it, made it my default, clicked on Edit Word List to make sure it had my defined words, clicked a bunch of OK's. Word still doesn't see my dictionary. When I right click on a word that Word doesn't recognize and pull up Autocorrect and Autocorrect Options, the list of words is not my custom dictionary. Am I missing a step somewhere? |
