Printing Fill-Effects Backgrounds

I've formatted a document using the two color fill color option.
The image I see on the screen which is "from center" has yellow bursting from the center with a blue background.
The print preview shows only the blue with a slight yellow tinge entering from the right corner.
I am using MS Word 2011.
Why won't the document print as viewed?
