Footnote language change
I use Office 2011 on a MacBook Pro (running OS 10.9.3). My system language is British English and my default language in Word is English (UK). The default language for “Normal” and “footnote” formatting is also set to English (UK). Therefore, can anyone explain why, when I insert a footnote and type in the information, English (UK) is dropped and the spelling reverts to English (US)? As I am working on a thesis, this is very frustrating.
Thank you, in anticipation. |

Footnote language change
It's best to ask in the MacWord forum at Microsoft Community:
