how do I add a filename field to a template
Using Word 2003, I want the filename of documents created from this template
to appear in the footer of each page. Therefore the field/entry in the template footer needs to update when the document is created (saved). |

To insert the filename, select the "Filename" or "Filename and path"
AutoText entry from the menu on the Header and Footer toolbar. Note that the field will not update automatically when you save a new document but will update when other header/footer fields are updated (such as when you print or switch to Print Preview). -- Suzanne S.
