if I import an Access file to Word, how do I avoid "cells"?
If I import an Access file to Word, how do I avoid "cells"? I'm trying to
layout the content of a database (two columns - first and last name) as a Word file to lay out for a newspaper. I want to import those two columns but avoid having them be in Cells. I just want editable text. |

When you have the table in word, select the table and choose Tables, Convert
Table to Text. However, I am not sure whether this will mix your wording up or not. Perhaps its worth a try. "mann43212" wrote: If I import an Access file to Word, how do I avoid "cells"? Hi mann43212-
Joey's suggestion should work like a charm! For future reference, you may also find it useful to create a simple Report in Access containing only the fields you need. The report can be used to Sort, etc. Then use the ToolsOffice Links feature to Publish It with Microsoft Word. Especially useful since the Report Object can be saved in the Access file and reused when ever necessary for current content.
