Default Strange typing

By mistake, I pressed a couple of keys together (eg. Control + another) and
suddenly the characters I was typing were stretching from one side of the
page to the other ie. one would appear on the left of the page and the next
on the right - and then on the left and then on the right, etc etc etc. This
continued until the whole line was "filled" - it was fascinating to watch.
If you have any idea what I'm trying to explain, can you tell me what it was
I did?

Hello mrmnz-

Sounds like you may have done a Ctrl+Shift+J and applied Distributed
Alignment or something similar. Try clicking in the affected para and click
the appropriate (Left?) alignment button on the Formatting Toolbar.

Thanks a lot - I hadn't heard of Distributed Alignment before. I guess it's
something new in 2003 because it doesn't work in 2000.
