Hi Folks

I have used this feature many times before without a problem. However, on a
current document while some Comments insert without a problem for others in
the same document I get a Comment mark but no Comment balloon on the right
hand side in the margin and hence it isn't obvious to others that I have
added Comments.
I can see that I have added Comments by switching on the Reviewing Pane
(bottom of the screen) but why aren't some comments showing in the right
margin??

Any ideas greatly received

If you have too many comments or other balloons to fit on a page, Word will
pile them up at the end of the doc.

Its much stranger than that - there aren't that many comments on a page so no
reason to pile them up at the end. I've done some further testing and found
that although I can't see some of the balloons as I add the comments, if I
save the document and re-open then the comments are there. However, as soon
as I click into the balloon to edit the comments they again disappear
