2 years ago I saved a doc with a password. Now I don't remember it. How can I
retrieve it?

There is no way to open the document through any Microsoft Office
provided functions. In that way, you're out of luck.

The only way to attempt to open it is to search the Internet for
cracker programs that will try to crack your password. However,
realize to get these programs it means you'll have to give your credit
card number to someone who makes a living from breaking security!
