I scanned a document into a software program called "OmniForm" which creates
forms beautifully; set the tab order correctly to go through the four page document. Since most of our staff do not have that program I saved it into Word. I needed to make more adjustments and now when I protect the document and try it out the tabs bounce me all over the place!!! How can you set the tab order? |

What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form." Check this
in help. For more about online forms, follow the links at http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms. One of those links tells how to set the tab order. I especially especially recommend Dian Chapman's series of articles if you are trying to master forms.
