bookmark disapears
Have a page with two identical forms. Each form has some repeated fields. On
the first form I added a bookmark for each of the fields I wanted to repeat on form 2. I protect the document & enter the text for each field. However, the first fields bookmark disappears. The rest of the bookmarks are ok & the fields repeat ok. What am I doing wrong? TIA -- ________________________________ In Christ's matchless name 73 ted colleen n6trf kc6rue |

TIA Bookmark names must be unique in a document. you need to assign different bookmark names to the second "form" in the document. However, the fields in the second form reference the fields in the first form. What happens is the first referenced bookmark disappears so the field that references that bookmark gets Error ... . The rest of the bookmarks remain & the referencing fields are ok. |

Why not use the form field names for the REF fields? (DOuble click any form field to open the Options; you can see and change the name). My best guess would be that you somehow inserted the bookmark in such a way that it's being deleted when you type. Also, do make sure to activate "Calculate on Exit" for the form fields so that the REF fields will update (display what you type).
