I can view pictures on my desktop in Word 2002 but can't see them on my
laptop. I read & tried the solutions in

but they didn't help. My options settings were correct. Hitting
alt-F9 didn't work. I also tried copying the pictures and using
insert-picture-from file, no luck. Any other suggestions would be
great.

Could it possibly be a memory issue? How much RAM does your laptop have?

This can be attributable to screen driver issues particularly with the
latest Intel mb graphics chipsets. See if there's an upgrade for your screen
driver.
