Hi Lisa
Sorry, there's no way to tell Word to track changes in parts of a document, but not others. Hope this helps. Shauna Kelly. Microsoft MVP. http://www.shaunakelly.com/word "Lisa M" Lisa wrote in message ... How do I omit track changes from a header which has been generated by field codes? |

Hi Lisa,
Simply turn off track-changes then update the fields (eg via print Preview). That should work in most cases. For fields in the body of the document, turn off track-changes then update the fields via Ctrl-A then F9. After you're done, turn track-changes on again. Cheers "Lisa M" Lisa wrote in message ...
