macro
Word would prompt to disable or enable macros if security setting has been
set to medium. If all macros in a particular document have been deleted, Word still prompts to disable/enable macros when that document is opened. How can a document really be cleared of any macro so to avoid being prompted when opened ?? Thanks Steve |

Do you have add-ins? Have you set security to trust installed templates and
add-ins? -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org SP wrote: Word would prompt to disable or enable macros if security setting has been set to medium. It can't. This is a setting that stays set once triggered. You can copy the
content to a new document using copy and paste. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup. Then open the RTF file, and save that back to Word format. The remains of the macro will be gone. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org |
