Unable to delete a Word Document.
Unable to delete Word Document. Cannot drag and drop in recycle bin. Cannot
get to properties. Microsoft Office 2003. Tried Safe Mode to delete, still could not delete it. Thanks |

What happens when you select the document in Windows Explorer and then press
the Delete key? Do you get a message of some sort? -- Hope this helps. Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis. No message, nothing, Can open the file. But cannot move it or delete it.

Looks like part of the file extinction is missing. It looks like €œ.d€. It

With Word closed use Start=Find/Search for files using
~$*.*;*.tmp delete those and see if you can then delete the Word file. ========= "WestTexasBliss" wrote in message ... No message, nothing, Can open the file. The file was not a tmp file.
