Default normal view

is there a way to have the normal view cover the entire screen. i don't mean
"full" view. In normal only half the screen is used.

Click the 'full screen' button at top right of the Word window.

There are two approaches to this:

1. Increase the Zoom ratio until your line length fills the screen width.
This preserves your line breaks but actually reduces the amount of text
displayed on the screen.

2. On the View tab of Tools | Options, choose "Wrap to window." This is even
less WYSIWYG than usual, but it puts as much text as possible on the screen.
