Default do I need a printer driver for my printer

Hi:
I have installed the following new fonts ALSScript, Vianta, fonts for word
2002. I use a an HP deskjet 5550 Printer. I also have many fonts in my
control that I want to use in word. How can I import them to word

Do I need a printer driver for these fonts to print.

You must have a printer driver installed to use your printer at all. When
your printer is selected as the default, you will be able to use in Word all
the fonts that are in the Windows Fonts folder.
