Can anyone help cure this formatting problem? Fields in Access selected as
currency fields merge without commas and dollar sign ending up in the merged document. Thanks |

Word is now expected to provide the formatting for numeric and date fields.
e.g. if you use Alt-F9 to display the field codes and have a field such as { MERGEFIELD mynumber } you can type a "numeric formatting switch" to add formatting info, e.g. { MERGEFIELD mynumber \#"$,#.00" } These formatting switches are documented in Word Help.
