If I am within Word, I can highlight multiple documents in the "open" dialog
box and they will all open up. (Word XP and Windows XP) If I go through the "My Computer" icon and highlight multiple documents, only the first one will open. Should I be able to open multiple Word documents this way? (I am able to open multiple Adobe Acrobat documents this way.) Anyone else have this problem? Any settings or anything I can try changing? The only thing I could think of was the "group similar items" in the Control Panel/Startup Task Bar settings. I tried changing that setting, but didn't make any difference. I also do not seem to be able to open multiple Word documents that are email attachments all at once. Unsure if this is a related issue. |
